Using SANE :I needed a scanner for my ProSeminar at University, so i bought a Canon LiDE 30.It is a good scanner, it comes with Windows drivers and it is completely supported by SANE under LINUX. For Mac OSX Canon provides a plugin for Photoshop. I don't have and don't want to use Photoshop, At home i only have an iBook, so searched for a SANE implementation under OSX and found one : http://www.ellert.se/twain-sane/ |
